Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager – Advisory & Client Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, high-performing Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager who can take full ownership of their workflow, manage client relationships, and play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services. This role suits someone with a strong compliance background in large family groups and who is ready to step into advisory, leadership, and client growth.

Key Responsibilities

·        Act as the primary point of contact for allocated clients and build strong ongoing relationships

·        Proactively liaise with clients to request information and resolve queries

·        Manage workflow from engagement through to completion with minimal supervision and holistic client focused mindset

·        Capability in XPM WIP and billing

·        Review work completed by junior and offshore staff and provide clear feedback

·        Apply strong technical knowledge across tax, accounting and compliance

·        Support advisory work including tax planning, structuring and taxation advice

·        Identify opportunities to add value and grow client relationships

·        Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout workflow completion

Candidate Requirements

·        CA or CPA qualified

·        6+ years’ experience in public practice accounting

·        Xero and XPM capabilities

·        Proven ability to manage workflow autonomously

·        Experience reviewing work of junior or offshore staff

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        High attention to detail and accountability

·        Driven, proactive and motivated to grow
