Who we are currently looking for

Senior Accountant

Camberwell, Victoria | One work-from-home day per week | Open to discussing other arrangements

Build your future at Salt Financial Group.

We are looking for a CA/CPA-qualified Senior Accountant with at least five years’ Australian public-practice experience to join our growing Accounting team.

At Salt, a senior accounting role is about more than producing compliant work. It is an opportunity to build trusted client relationships, participate in meaningful advisory conversations and contribute to the way our practice develops. You will work closely with senior leaders in an established integrated accounting and financial advice business where good ideas and genuine contribution are visible.

The opportunity

  • Own and develop relationships with a varied portfolio of clients.

  • Prepare high-quality financial statements and tax returns.

  • Apply your accounting, taxation and superannuation knowledge to practical client needs.

  • Broaden your advisory exposure and become more involved in commercial conversations.

  • Contribute to better systems, processes and the considered use of technology and AI.

  • Develop toward future management and leadership responsibility.

What you will bring

  • CA or CPA qualification.

  • At least five years’ Australian public-practice experience.

  • Strong technical accounting and taxation capability.

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.

  • Sound judgement, initiative and close attention to detail.

  • A desire to keep learning, contribute ideas and grow with the firm.
